Better Late than Never, Right?

Well, at least that is what I hope you will be thinking. I ***FINALLY*** sent out all Christmas cards and gifts as of yesterday. Yep. I know. It took forever. I finally got a couple of the remaining addresses I had been waiting for and sent them all out. It's silly really - my cards had been written way back in the first week of December, but then, for some reason, they just sat there. So, if you were sitting around thinking "Huh, I sent Kathleen a card, but why haven't I got one in return?" Don't worry, you will . . . as long as the mail people don't lose them along the way. Speaking of which, I am still waiting for 3 packages to arrive that were sent AGES ago and should be here by now. I think my postman may be nicking my stuff!

One place where the "Better late than never" mantra does not apply is with airlines, as I learned the hard way yesterday. Apparently, with less than 5hrs sleep I cannot tell the difference between the "snooze" button and the "off" button and I consequently missed my flight to Switzerland (did I mention I was going to Geneva for 48hrs to chill out before moving again?). So, here I am stuck in rainy Edinburgh. Blah. Check-in was supposed to close at 9:45 and I got there at 9:53. Too late.

In other news, Sunday is the big day! Another move to go through, but I can handle it. As long as I make it to the train station on time . . . gulp! I will keep you posted!
